Harriton Farm, Villanova, Pennsylvania

Additions and alterations to a 1880's double-cupola closed-forebay Pennsylvania bank barn located on Harriton Farms, a recent subdivision of a Quaker farm.

Harriton Farm was selected as "Home of the Week" by Forbes Magazine in July 2005.

The project received a 2005 award from the Historic Architecture Review Board of Lower Merion Township. The jury found "the abandoned 19th-century building had been transformed into a magnificent single-family residence through a series of additions, alterations, and renovations that preserve much of the building's original historic character.   With a thoughtful eye and a caring hand, the new uses of modern living have been skillfully woven into the historic fabric of an existing building."

Harriton Farm received a 2007 Montgomery County Land Development Award in recognition of "impressive historic preservation" - as well as exceptional site design and natural features protection. The project was cited for the "meticulous restoration of the historic buildings."
